I am glad you found our Horse Approved site.  I created this website/blog to give horse loving people a place to find useful articles and information related to horses.  I believe in treating horses with respect and even though they are considered a pet for most they are an animal worthy of respect. They have been along side man for thousands of years. Horses are intelligent creatures that have fought and died for and with their human companions yet today they are often times seen and treated as cows. Horses are complex creatures that even pro trainers will tell you they are still very much students when it comes to horses.

My goal for the this site is to create a place for like-minded horse people to share thoughts and learn from eachother. If you love and respect horses you are Horse Approved. Read our articles, leave a comment and visit our forums.

We are currently looking for other authors for this site. This is not a paid postion but if you become an author you are welcome to create a signature that includes your blog or website. This signature can be included on each of your posts to help with building link popularity to your blog/website.  You only allowed to include your original work. An occasional repeat article from your blog would be acceptable if you give an intro the repeat article within the Horse Approved post.

Looking for blog authors for the following areas:

• Horse Showing English (would include the pressures, joys, excitement and advice about showing horses, including pictures would be a big plus)
• Horse Showing Western (same as above)
• Horse Training (would prefer a trainer or retired trainer with natural horsemanship understanding)
• Student Writer (horses from a young persons point of view , ages 17 or younger)
• Horse Stories writer (would include stories about the horse and human relationship, interviewing horse people, stories that tug at your heart and make you laugh)
• Horse Health and Caring (anything related to the care and up keep of horses)
