Horse Lovers Blog Carnival - Today is the Day! - “Why I Am Thankful For The Horse (Equine)”
Welcome to the November 21, 2007 edition of horse lovers blog carnival. I think this carnival has had the most submissions so far. There were a few people that posted more than 2 posts and I apologize if I did not make the rule of 2 submission maximum clear. For those that did submit more than 2 posts I just picked my two favorites. GP got to have one extra post because she had submitted to a carnival that didn’t exist a while back. I felt badly about that so I decided to include an extra post from her blog. was given permission to allow her junior authors to submit posts so that is why there are 4 submissions from GirlsHorseClub.com blog.
By the way Girls Horse Club is trying to raise money for the International Fund for Horses. I think this is a great opportunity for us to say thank you to the horse. Girls Horse Club has a goal to raise $1,000 by January 1st. So far they have only raised $100 and January 1st is just right around the corner. Remember every dollar helps so after reading the great posts from the girls at Girls Horse Club, please contribute to the cause. Thanks Girls Horse Club for heading up this fund raiser and thank you for submitting your posts on thankfulness. It was a true blessing to read them.

Even after a lifetime of writing about horses, I find new people–like the producers of this play in London–who use the horse as a metaphor for something as weighty as the horrors of war. The horse is a powerful source in my day-to-day life, in literature, in art…and now even on the stage. Thank you!”

Would you like to know the ONE thing you can do to improve your riding and Horsemanship skills?
http://boblogantraining.com
Bob Logan Master Of Bridleless Riding
Bob has spent his life Studying horses. He has paid attention to how they move, how they learn, how they react to different riders, and what techniques make them perform better. He has been training horses for over 40 years. He has searched and studied the best techniques that have promised positive results and a disciplined horse…He has also studied the worst techniques and found out what doesn’t work in horse and rider training. He analyzed a barrel turn in minute detail. The common thread in all there is to learn is that consistency builds confidence and discipline creates performance. Through the combination of discipline and consistency comes success. Bob taught thousands of students to understand horsemanship as an art as well as a science. The science lies in skills he learned from reining, cutting, working cow horses and barrel racing horses. The art is found in the partnership that can develop between the horse and rider. As this partnership becomes more perfect, it becomes the mark of excellence in both horsemanship and showmanship. Each of us wants to become the best at what we love to do.
So, let’s begin…..Take a deep breath, relax and loosen the trainer in you as you prepare to read. Let’s see if my ideas can help you and your horse become partners in all that you are capable of becoming. Let us help you find the best way to train your horse.
