Since the launch of the Horse Approved community in October we have had a decent amount of members join. I am excited about this growth and hope that new members will continue to contribute their photos, videos and blog posts. We haven’t had many of the members use the social community to it fullest yet so I thought I would write a post about why this community is so great. This post will hopefully also encourage others to join the community.

11 Reasons To Be Apart Of The Horse Approved Community

1. The community allows you to upload and share photos and video for free. You don’t have to upload video to YouTube first. You can keep all your video in a community that has people who share your interests.
2. Video can be embedded into any website. So if you have a blog or website where you would like to share your video or interesting video found in the community you can do so easily.
3. You can share stories on your blog or can let other members know about things happening on a website or blog that you author elsewhere. This is also great for gaining more links for you website to increase your sites pagerank.
4. Join groups and find other horse people who share your interests. Whether you enjoy Western Riding, Endurance, Dressage or reading horse books you can find others with the same interests by joining groups (Click Here To See All Groups).
5. You will have the chance to win prizes. We will have a few contests running as soon as we reach 100 members.
6. The community also has a forum for general discussion. Have questions or advice? Check out the forum page.
7. Meet new people and make friends. Check out the members page to see who is new to the community. When you view the profile page be sure to click on the “add to friends” button.
8. All recent photo, new members, active members are shown on the Horse Approved homepage. The homepage already has existing traffic, subscribers and a pagerank of 4.
9. You can also grab a widget of your media. This means you can let the readers of your blog/website outside the community see the photos, video, blog posts you have been including in the community. Embedding the widget is easy and offers more content for you blog or website. To find your widgets go to your homepage while logged in and then click on the My Media tab and then My Widget tab.
10. The best part about this community is that we can honor the horse by inspiring others through video, photos and stories. Horses are worthy of our love and respect and this community can help us to express our gratitude.
